سفر كريس رونالدو و نامزدش به استانبول اين شهر را براي ساعاتي به هم ريخت.

رونالدو كه همراه با نامزدش كه يك مدل روسي است و با جت اختصاصي به استانبول رفته بودند تا يك مجتمع تجاري را افتتاح كنند اگرچه به كمك هلي كوپتر و با دو ساعت تاخير به ساختمان مجتمع تجاري رسيدند اما به دليل حضور چشمگير بيش از 5 هزار نفر براي ديدار با ستاره پرتغالي پليس استانبول مراسم را لغو كرد چون اعتقاد داشت، امكان تامين امنيت اين زوج سرشناس وجود ندارد.
